A perfect recovery

Camcon Oil has launched its first product, APOLLO, based on its BAT technology. APOLLO is the first of a new range of products to support Digital Intelligent Artificial Lift (DIAL) solutions, which bring enhanced oil recovery without intervention.
“We’re really excited about the launch of the APOLLO range,” said Ian Anderson, Camcon Oil’s chief operating officer. “The oil and gas market is facing a tough challenge to find new reserves or increase oil production. APOLLO brings operators not only increased recovery from existing oil fields, but also enables them to bring non-viable fields back into production.
“This brings not only production benefits but also operational cost benefits as no intervention means no downtime. For the first time operators can also have access to real time information, such as pressure and temperature measurements, from within the annulus and the working pipe at the point of gas injection. This will bring more control and reduce risk - yet another benefit that APOLLO will bring to oil operators.”
The APOLLO DIAL portfolio of products use a digital valve technology, based on Camcon’s patented, ultra-low energy Binary Actuation Technology (BAT). APOLLO enables operators to vary injection rates in real-time without production interruption and well intervention, and generate pressure and temperature information throughout the gas injection process – all features that current artificial gas lift solutions cannot provide.
